In the State of Florida, you have a choice of three ways to vote:

VOTE BY MAIL

Traditionally called Absentee Voting, in the State of Florida it is available to all residents. Vote-by-Mail allows you to skip the traditional waiting in lines that many voters encounter. IMPORTANT - Vote-by-Mail requests must be received by 5:00 p.m. on the Thursday 12 days prior to the election. Your Ballot will then be mailed to you approximately 3 weeks prior to election. (Please note: If you decide you want to go to the polls, you must take your ballot with you to have it voided.)

• Register for Vote-by-Mail at lee.vote
• Call the Elections Office at 239-LEE-VOTE (239-533-8683)
• Go to 1021 SE 9th Place, Suite 3, Cape Coral.

EARLY VOTING

• You can go to any designated sites and vote early. 
• Early voting generally starts 10 days prior to Election Day and ends the Saturday before. 
• Dates are announced well in advance or you can go to the lee.vote

ELECTION DAY

• You can always still vote on Election Day.
• Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
• Voters in line as of 9 p.m. will be allowed to vote.
