In the State of Florida, you have a choice of three ways to vote:
VOTE BY MAIL
Traditionally called Absentee Voting, in the State of Florida it is available to all residents. Vote-by-Mail allows you to skip the traditional waiting in lines that many voters encounter. IMPORTANT - Vote-by-Mail requests must be received by 5:00 p.m. on the Thursday 12 days prior to the election. Your Ballot will then be mailed to you approximately 3 weeks prior to election. (Please note: If you decide you want to go to the polls, you must take your ballot with you to have it voided.)

You or someone you choose may return your ballot to any branch office location no later
than 7:00 pm on Election Day.
